Fall is the Best Time in North Myrtle Beach!

Fall is absolutely the best time at the beach!

The Grand Strand is famous for its summertime fun, from water parks to fireworks, the summer season has it all.  But the best-kept secret among locals and visitors in the know is that fall is the best time to visit the beach.  The crowds are low, the traffic is light and the weather is warm (not humid). Schools are back in session so fewer families and more couples and groups tend to gravitate toward Myrtle Beach in the autumn.

The beach seems deserted in September, October and November compared to the crowds of June, July and August.
Visitors can stake out their own stretch of beach and truly relax in the 70 to 80-degree sun.  One of the few places that actually pick up in the autumn months are the 100 plus golf courses on the Grand Strand.  The fall golf season sees groups invade from all over the country and even the world to play golf in a setting where the challenge of the golf course is the only thing that makes them sweat.  Check out some of our great fall golf packages now.

The fishing also picks up in the fall as large schools pass off the Grand Strands' shores en route to warmer waters.  Whether surf fishing, pier fishing or deep-sea fishing, the fall months are the best time to land a big one.  Although the crowds may be lighter, there's still plenty to do and see in the off season.  The restaurants, shops and attractions you are accustomed to standing in line for during the summer are magically wide open.

So book your trip and pack your bags for the fall - the best time of the year at the beach!
