Aqua Park Coming to Lake at North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex

On February 20, City Council approved a Resolution authorizing the addition of an "aqua park" amenity to the Shark Wake Park located on the freshwater lake at the North Myrtle Beach Park & Sports Complex.

The city leases a portion of the lake located at the Park & Sports Complex to Apex Wake Park, LLC (Apex). Apex will add the new attraction.

The Aqua Park is sometimes promoted an "enormous floating playground or obstacle course" that will be situated on a portion of the lake. It will include a series of inflatable slides, runways, jumping pillows, and bouncers, all connected together and floating in the lake. It also offers swings, ramps, ladders, trampolines, slides, wiggle bridges, and more. There are great variety of different shapes, sizes, and functions, which add to the excitement.

We'll publish details on pricing, hours, etc., when we receive them.

An example of an Aqua Park is offered in the accompanying photo. We will publish a photo or illustration of the actual park that will be installed at the Park & Sports Complex when we receive it.
